Daywise Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Bagdogra/NJP – Yuksom (145 KMS /6.5 HOURS APPROX.)

Assistance on arrival at the airport/railway station and drive to Yuksom.

YUKSOM (1840M): -

The first capital of the kingdom of Sikkim and site of the coronation of the first chogyal. Evidence of the enthronement ceremony can still be seen in the form of stone seats and a footprint of the Head Lama on a stone. The stone throne constructed for the great event stands today at Norbugang and has been declared a Heritage Site. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 - Yuksum – Bakhim (Bakhim 3005 M/12 Kms/7-8 Hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel and begin trek to Bakhim.

BAKHIM

Located at 3005m Bakhim lies among beautiful alpine plants and Sikkims famed orchids. Several Himalayan fauna are found here and Bakhim itself has many rare varieties of birds and butterflies.Overnight in tents.

Day 3 - Bakhim – Dzongri (4030m/11 Kms/7 Hrs)

After breakfast begin trek to Dzongri.

DZONGRI

Located at 4030m, Dzongri is a steep climb of 11 kms from Bakhim, but every effort is worth the excellent and imposing view one gets of the Kanchanjunga and other peaks from here. Besides the dwarf rhododendrons add a romantic touch to the magical world of Dzongri. Overnight in tents.

Day 4 - Dzongri – Tshoka (3050 m/10 Kms/4-5 Hrs)

After breakfast begin trek to Tshoka approx 10 kms 4 hours. Visit the beautiful but small Tshoka village, catch a breath-taking view of Mt Pandim, Aralunchong, Lamba-Lamini and spend the night in a local wooden hut in Tshoka. Overnight in tents. Overnight in tents.

Day 5 - Tshoka – Yuksum (1875 m/14 Kms/6-7 Hrs)

Retrace steps towards Yuksom on the final day of the trek. The going is easier as the path is mainly downhill. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 - Yuksum – Bagdogra/NJP (145 KMS/ 6.5 HOURS APPROX.)

After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra airport/NJP railway station in time for flight/train to onward destination.

Cancellation Policy

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

16 days to prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
15 days to 01 days prior to arrival or no show - 100% of the tour/service cost.

Please note - Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs - in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us - a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
