Kolkata, also known as the “City of Joy”, was the capital seat of British Empire during its initial days. It is considered as the intellectual and cultural capital of India.

Home to famous personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Satyajit Ray, Mother Teresa and many more, it is a town that is rich in traditions, art and values. The citizens of this place loves academic discussions on everything from cricket to movies, plays, exhibitions, art and film festivals all round the year. All the popular tourist attractions included in this tour justify the same. It is also a major commercial centre in the eastern part of the country, and a major contributor to the world of literature, art and cinema both nationwide and across the nation.

The city has some of India’s major attraction sites such as Victoria Memorial, Howrah Bridge, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Kalighat temple, Eden Gardens and busy narrow streets of North Kolkata with lip-smacking street food.

Daywise Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Kolkata

Arrival at Kolkata airport/railway station. Meeting & assistance on arrival and transfer to the city hotel. The rest of the day is free for exploring the city locales. Park Street area recommended for good restaurants and pubs.

Day 2 - City Tour: South Kolkata Attractions

After breakfast proceed for a full day city tour visiting Flower Market, Howrah Bridge, Indian Museum (Closed on Monday & National Holidays), Victoria Memorial (Closed on Monday & National Holidays), St. Pauls’ Cathedral, Mother House (Closed on Thursday) and Kalighat kali temple.

Day 3 - City Tour: North Kolkata Attractions

After breakfast proceed for a full day city tour visiting Dalhousie Square, Jain Temple, Kumartuli, Tagore House (Closed on Monday & National Holidays) , Marble Palace (Closed on Monday, Thursday & National Holidays), College Street (Partially closed on Sunday & National Holidays) and Indian Coffee House.

Day 4 - Departure

After breakfast transfer to airport /railway station for onward destination.

Cancellation Policy

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

16 days to prior to arrival - 50% of the tour/service cost.
15 days to 01 days prior to arrival or no show - 100% of the tour/service cost.

Please note - Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs - in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us - a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
