Nagaland Manipur 9 Days Tour (DSI-193)

This schedule starts with arrival at Dimapur airport or railway station, where a representative will meet the travelers and drive to Kohima the capital of Nagaland.

Over night stay at hotel.

After breakfast visit to War Cemetary and Naga Heritage Village.

Later on excursion to Khonoma and back(22 kms 1 hour approx. one way)

Khonoma: The village and forest walks will unfold the unique culture and heritage of the village as well its strong environmental initiatives.

Enjoy the warm, local hospitality of the Western Angamis in their homes in the picturesque and terraced Khonoma village.

Overnight in Hotel.

After breakfast proceed to your next destination Touphema.

The Touphema Tourist Villageis one of the ancient heritage villages of Nagaland and is a wonderful recreation of a traditional AngamiNaga village. It is setup with cabins and rooms that have been built to look like traditional huts / cottage.

Over night at hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Kohima. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and complete the formalities .Evening free to explore the market areas.

Over night at Hotel.

After having a filling breakfast , you will be taken to Imphal.

Upon arrival, you will have to complete the check-in formalities and rest for some time.

Once you have freshened up, you will be taken to the Govindajee Temple. After offering your prayers to the Lord, the rest of the evening can be spent at your leisure.

Over night at hotel.

After breakfast proceed for your Imphal sightseeing, you will be taken to the Keibul Lamjao National Park. After spending some time at the national park, you will visit the largest freshwater lake in North-East India- Loktal Lake,Japanese War Memorial, and INA Memorial.

Over night at Hotel.

After early  breakfast proceed to visit the Indo-Myanmar border. It will be a 3-hour drive to Moreh, and after the government's approval, you will cross over to the Tamu town of Myanmar. Click some pictures around, and take a quick visit to the Buddhist Pagoda and the Local Market like Namphalong.

Over night at hotel.

After early breakfast you will be taken to the mesmerizing hill town of Ukhrul. Spend some time tasting their local cuisines and enjoying your time amongst the locals.

After a full day of enjoyment, you will return to the hotel. Over night at hotel.

After having a delicious breakfast, you will have to complete the check-out formalities and depart for departure.
