Day 1 - Arrive & Drive To Gangtok
This schedule starts with arrival at Bagdogra airport or railway station , where a representative will meet the travelers and drive you to Gangtok.
Day 2 - Excursion To Tshangu Lake & Baba Mandir
After breakfast proceed to Tshangu lake and baba mhandir excursion.
early 40 kilometres and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, the home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road - Situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet - The Lake is oval shaped lake nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year – This lake is home to the Brahmini ducks & many migratory birds Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all.
Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping centre.
Over Night stay at Gangtok.
Day 3 - Gangtok to Lachen
After breakfast Drive from Gangtok to Lachen.
En-route visit Mangan, Singik and Maltim Bhim nala waterfall Seven sister water fall Phodong Monastry. Overnight at Lachen. [*Note*: Above mention points are covered, subjected the vehicle take the normal route. This sightseeing point are included on complementary basis & in case of diversions these points will be missed. As sometime the normal route is closed for maintenance work].
Day 4 - Lachen to Lachung - Transfer With Gurudongmar Lake Excursion
After breakfast morning excursion to Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley and Thangu Valley.
Afternoon drive to Lachung.
Overnight at Lachung.
Day 5 - Lachung to Gangtok - Transfer With Yumthang Valley Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel and excursion to Yumthang Valley & back.
The valley of flowers. Flora, Fauna, Rhododendrons and Primulas and found in abundance. Yumthang is the summer grazing grounds for the Yaks.After visit transfer to Gangtok.
Over night at Gangtok.
Day 6 - Gangtok - Darjeeling
After breakfast at hotel - Next a drive of 140 kilometers 3½ - 4 hours through scenic road Darjeeling - Over Night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7 - Darjeeling Full Day Sightseeing
Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill. Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchendzonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit TravelTriangle.com 07points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, PNZ Zoological Park (closed on Thursday) Tenzing Rock, Tibetans Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Rope way, Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. Over night stay at hotel.
Day 8 - Darjeeling-Kalimpong
After breakfast drive to Kalimpong.
At an altitude of 1250m, Kalimpong’s location is ideal for a pleasant, relaxed getaway. Its clement weather has made Kalimpong’s orchids and gladiole well renowned. Up to the early 1700s, the Kalimpong area was part of the Sikkim raja’s domain. In the early 18th century, the Bhutan king also took it over.
Over night at hotel.
Day 9 - Kalimpong Full Day Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed to Kalimpong full day.
Visit Delo hills, Durpin dara hills, Golf course, flower nursery, Mangal dham and Hanuman Statue. Overnight at Kalimpong
Day 10 - Drop Airport / Njp Railway Station
After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
