This 5D/4N tour takes you through Meghalaya, “the abode of clouds” . This green state is home to subtropical & mountain forests. The forests are notable for their biodiversity of mammals, birds, and plants.

The secret to Meghalaya’s year-long greenery is because it is a region which receives the highest rainfall in across the globe. Meghalaya’s main ethnic communities, each having its own distinctive customs and cultural traditions are the Khasis, the Garos and the Jaintias said to be originally from South East Asia. The common trait binding all three communities is its matrilineal system in which the family linage is taken from the mother’s side. The people of Meghalaya are known to be hospitable, cheerful and friendly.

In short, a land of peace and harmony with breathtaking scenery.

This short tour will take you through the marvels of Meghalaya – Shillong, Cherrapunjee & Mawlynnong village
